Hi, I’m Rick Love. I’m a peacemaker, certified mediator, professor, and ordained pastor. I have published numerous articles and four books, including Peace Catalysts: Resolving Conflict in our Families, Organizations and Communities (2014).
I earned a Th.M. in New Testament and a D.Min. in Urban Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary as well as an M.A. in Theology and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. In 2015 I received Fuller’s “Distinguished Alumni Award.”
I conducted postdoctoral research in peacemaking at the Yale University Center for Faith and Culture and am certified in both Basic Mediation and Workplace Mediation.
I am a professional member of the Southern California Mediation Association and serve on the Global Advisory Council for religious peace builders.
I am a global citizen, having consulted and lectured in over 40 countries. Indonesia was my home for nine years and England for six.
I am happily married to Fran, my wife of over 40 years, who is a wise Spiritual Director. I have three beautiful daughters and just became a grandfather.
